Alone!

I have been living with others (roomies) for a little more than two years. After I moved out of school, and started working, I have been living alone (Ok.. not alone, as a PG) for the past five months. Now I have my own space, can't complain. But my chances of knowing, or for that matter even meeting, new people or making friends, guys or gals, have been drastically reduced. I dont have desi colleagues, and my friends in school (pretty closer to work) have started to move out as well. Having lived with all kinds of eccentric roomies (Trust me, I have seen it all!), moving with even one another desi gives me the shrieks. Adhukku badhila thaniyave kuppai kottelam. Idhukku than oru nalla GF venumgeradhu... Early bird catches the prey nu kelvi pattirukken, all the prey nu yaarume yen kitte sollaleye ;-) Inime Mexico vil than thedanumo ennamo...

I think you need to find out where more desi community is at. I am sure there will be a lot of places.. I was amazed to to find desi people all around in MD! nah dont go to mexico unless u have changed ure stance on Indian.

Be patient and time will tell!

Well nobody is a perfect match, probably even a life partner.

Actually if you note, this happens only when you are independent and far away from home and nowhere to go, in hostel it was'nt this bad probably because we manage our finances and thats where everyone gets a little sensitive about (especially when you are a student).

I don't think I had a match with any of my roommates after coming to US. So rather staying away and not bothering anyone :), that's better than staying with roommates and ending up in problems (whoever the reason maybe).

hehehee..i already wrote about the "priceless" exp of having roomies..long time back..

nice to know u r now by urself...dedicate this time to do whtever you wanted to in ur life n have not been able to... cos certain things might be later restricted in ur life by ur life partner....: am passing this advice to u ... which i got from a fellow blogger who by now wud have prob got married with the one among the "all" picked up category

mexico is not far.. so u still have a gud chance of getting one gf
